To
repeat, don't think, look! The man who takes my money at Eagle's Lighthouse Cafe says he was homeless. Sounds like one local haole. Moved up here, but his aunty went crazy on him. Slept outside
until someone gave him a place to stay and took him to church. On the
sign at the intersection of Haunani and Old Volcano Road, an eagle
flies beside an American flag. The music is loud, and it's about
Jesus. They used to get up at 3 a.m. to take food down to Hilo for the homeless in the park. We'd feed them the Lord, and then we'd feed them
food. But most of them didn't want the Lord, just the food.
